SMR is a full service market research agency, which offers also fieldwork only, including sampling, target group definition and selection and all the local know how and consultancy, which one needs to conduct research successfully.

SMR is specialised in quantitative surveys, but offers also qualitative IDI’s and carries out focus groups together with our partner agency in Frankfurt

We do image and brand health studies (trackings), new product and concept evaluations, customer satisfaction surveys and many other types of research, both, in the B2B and B2C sector

Social research, which we carry out in cooperation with the public sector, universities and alike is another important discipline within SMR’s portfolio

SMR is a pioneer in sophisticated CATI telephone research with 50 stations. We use predictive dialling technology since over 10 years, which allows us to conduct fieldwork very effectively.
Our online research tool uses flash technology for a more entertaining and motivating interview.
We record verbatims and qualitative interviews digitally, which enhances our analytical skills.

SMR was founded by a senior project director and an IT / field director of Burke International (today¨TNS) in 1992.

SMR is a completely independent research agency, but has developed a network of cooperation partners nationally and internationally, which enables us to coordinate projects of any size and complexity

Managing director and co-owner: Walter Lulay has a university degree in economics with a specialisation in statistical theory. Over 30 years research experience including 10 years on the research buyers’ side (Braun / today: P&G, Richardson Vicks / today: P&G, Tarkett-Pegulan)
